A former governorship candidate of the People for Democratic Change (PDC) and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, Segun Odidi, has dumped the (PDP) for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Odidi in his resignation letter dated January 16, 2019 and addressed to the Chairman of (PDP) in Igbotako Ward One in Okitipupa Local Government Area of the state, said he was no longer interested in the activities of the (PDP) especially in the state.
The letter sighted by our correspondent read in part, ” This is to officially inform you of my of my intention to resign my membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The ex- governorship candidate, who rejoined the (PDP) after contesting the last gubernatorial election in Ondo State, was a member of the last (PDP) National Convention Committee.
According to the news made available to Hero Online Magazind , Hon. Segun Odidi said ,after due consultation with his people and political associates, I hereby resign my membership of PDP. I will officially decamp to APC at a state function in a couple of days,” he said.
