BRIGADIER GENERAL BOLANLE ESTHER AJAYI, FUNMILOLA BANKOLE, BARR YEMI BAJOWA AND OTHERS BAGGED THE 2021 ONDO STATE WOMEN OF SUBSTANCE AWARD OF THE YEAR
A Gallant Soldier, Brigadier General Bolanle Esther Ajayi,the First Female Genera Ondo State ever produced in Nigeria has bagged the Lifetime Achievement Award as the Ondo State Most Outstanding Woman of the Year 2021by the Hero Magazine international and Ondo State Outstanding Leadership Awards Platform.
Also, A Grassroots Politician, An Administrator and a Philanthropist, Mrs Funmilola Bankole And A WOMAN OF SUBSTANCE , A LAWYER , TRADITIONAL RULER OF REPUTE, The Regent of Ayeka Kingdom, HRM（ Barr. ）Oluyemi Francisca Bajowa also emerged the 2021 Ondo State Female Role Model & Woman of the year in Private Sector and Ondo State Female Role Model & Woman of the Year in Public Sector respectively .
Other awardees in the 2021 Edition of Ondo State female role model award include, Mrs Folake Esan, ,,,,a business woman and a Philanthropist , Regent Funmilayo Ojo , a renowned kabiesi with class and a Cultural Ambassador, DSP ODUNLAMI-OMISANYA FUNMILAYO ,,,Police Public Relations Officer, Ondo State police command . A gallant officer , Barr. Prophetess Comfort Samuel Omoniyi ,,,,A Laywer and the Wife of a Renowed Prophet doing wonders in the vineyard of God, Olubukola Olatokunbo Olayinka Maha: A young vibrant lady, a Human rights activst and women’s rights advocate.
The award presentation which took place at the capital City of Ondo State , Akure . De Dome International event centre, Igbatoro Road , in November 14th, 2021, this year attracted creme De le creme of personalities ,captain of industries, Political bigwigs, Several Generals both serving and retired in the Nigerian Army, Traditional Rulers among others all over the country and outside .
The who event hall was filled to its capacity by Guests and the outside flow was also filled up with well wishers that came to felicitate with the awardees. It was indeed a colorful event .
Extolling the virtues of awardees , the Coordinator of the program, Dr Sunday Akinbiola commended them for their developmental strides in Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole ,; their empowerment drives and the people’s opinion about them and their philanthropic disposition to the people. .. The organisers of the award, Hero Magazine and Nigeria Outstanding Leadership Award Platform , said they were chosen for the honour because of their “striking attributes of hard work; development initiative; tenacity of purpose; philosophy of giving back to the society there making them a worthy ambassador of the state. While speaking on the credible award platform, (ondo State Outstanding Leadership of the Year Award), He describe the award platform as the one that seeks to publicly celebrate excellence, reward exceptional accomplishments, salute positive personal character and industry, honour the outstanding career achievements of illustrious sons and daughters whose performances have made a significant contributions in private and public sector to engender on a local, national or international basis.

The Chairman of the occasion,A Laywer and a Human Rights Activst ,Dr, Tunji Abayomi appreciated the Platform for her consistency and integrity. in keeping the pace since 14 years. He also described all the awardees as a worthy Ambassadors of Ondo State judging from the risen profiles of all the awardees honoured in this year edition. He thereafter charged them to continue to do more to uphold justify the honour being bestowed on them.

His Eexcellency, Executive Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, My Royal Father’s, the Distinguished Chairman of this occasion, fellow Awardees, Ladies and Gentlemen. It is with the greatest honour, privilege and utmost humility that I receive and accept the Excellent award as the Ondo State Female Role Model and Woman of The Year in Public Sector 2021.
I bring love, light and greetings from my husband, Prince Dr (Gen) Joseph Oluyemi Bajowa, OFR, the Jagunmolu of Ikaleland and The Ojagbulegun from The Source, my rock, my pillar, my crown, my inspiration, my teacher and my sweet love. The man that God brought into my life so that I can manifest God’s will and purpose in my life. I therefore dedicate this award to my husband, who has given me the platform to Soar high like eagle and to be useful to humanity and the society.
I am an ardent and unrepentant believer in humanity. I am crafted for shared and common humanity. Therefore, any endeavor that I am able to do is inspired from my upbringing and what I inherited from my Late father His Royal Majesty Oba Frederick Bode Ayelomi, JP of blessed memory (Lulaire II) Lumure of Ayeka Kingdom. He cultivated big farms every year not because he had personal need to eat big, but because he wanted more to share with the needy. He created wealth but not for any personal aggrandisement, but to put himself in positions to help people in his world.
I have learnt from him and imbibed his values. His life philosophies in this regard will always be my driving force indeed I cherish and project spirit of poverty eradication.
It goes without saying that we are in men’s world. We live in a world that is dominated by men and their activities. Whilst women are definitely not in any direct competition with men, women are now seen and known to be carving niches for themselves in their chosen fields of endeavours. We now see women leading or seeking to lead great nations. Women are taking leading roles in boardrooms and other activities of great commercial values.
Women birth nations. Women build homes and by extension build nations. The place of women in the development of our state and nation should not be undermined. Whilst humanity is the platform upon which I operate, the place for women is my core constituency. I will continue to do all within my power to continue to forge the course of shared humanity and promote the course of women in our world.
This Excellence award remains source of inspiration to me. I am particularly proud of the achievements and dynamism of the Hero Margazine the organisers of this programme. I must confess that I am personally intrigued by the quality of the activities of promoting image of women, social cohesion and development through leadership.
I commend the Hero Margazine Platform for its foresight and vision making. It explicits vivid in the importance of female role in leadership, community development and social cohesion. There is the need to advocate for better life for women. There is the need for women programmes to be projected and create much awareness with regards to the abundant of opportunities that exist in the urban and rural areas in the nation.
There is much concern for the unemployed graduates and school leavers. The government programmes should be geared towards dislodging unemployment and poverty in the country for the promotion of poverty Alleviation programmes to make life more abundant.
I am confident you will all support and promote the aims and objectives of this great forum. (Hero Margazine), there is the need for projection of leadership, development and national integration. There must be programme which will promote full employment, continuous growth in productivity and women full participation in political and leadership affairs.
Once again I must appreciate the organisers of this great event. May you continue to excel in all your endeavours and assist in spreading the spirit of quality life for emergence of a better nation which we shall all be proud of.
I also must thank my dear husband for supporting and allowing me to be who I am today. I thank my children and grandchildren for creating a very productive family atmosphere for me to develop myself and allow me time for good works.
I thank my friends and close family members. Your belief and confidence in me is my greatest impetus.
