I have just been notified of the transition to glory of our past Governor, Evangelist Ishola Bamidele Olumilua
I want to commiserate with his family, and the good people of Ondo and Ekiti State for the loss of this illustrious son, a leader in its full meaning.
Evangelist Olumilua epitomises the best in the politics of Nigeria. He was a strategic planner. He was a political master and a builder of men and institutions.
His era as Governor, Ondo State was noted for giant strides in the social and human capacity development of Ondo State.
And even after living office, he carried himself with dignity and seriousness required of leadership at all times. Evangelist Olumilua was an all round States man.
We can only commiserate with Muyiwa and his siblings to take solace in the good works of their father, and believe that his spirit will continue to endure with them. And that his name will continue to avail them Opportunities across the length and breadth of this country. We wish him peaceful rest in the Lord, and pray for consolation to his family and members of his political family.
