Leke’ Adedipe becomes 11th Ondo State Man of the Year.

There was celebration galore at Akure last weekend, when the people decided to honour their own, as Ondo State Outstanding Man of the Year
The Intenational Event Centre in Akure popularly known as De Dome event Centre , where Engr. Adeleke Adedipe, the Chief Operating Officer,Lekoil was honoured as the 11th Ondo State Man of the Year was filled to the brim with dignataries from Outside the Country, Abuja, Lagos ,Portharcourt and other places.
While speaking, Adeleke appreciated God for giving him the grace to serve his people and for giving him the opportunity to help his people with what he has given him.
Dr Adeleke said he was happy to have been recognized by his people, and that it means they appreciated his little gesture towards the people .
He noted that the honour the State decided to bestow on him will spur him to continue to think about them first in all what he wants to do, saying he is ready to do more for the upliftment and the development of humanity.
He appreciated the Kabiyesis, the Chairman of the Occassion ,Chief Michael Ade Ojo and the Representatives of the State Governor , Chiefs and the people of the State for the honour done him and said that they should expect more from him and his family.
He therefore called on well-to-do indigenes of the State who are in Nigeria and abroad to come home and join hands together to see what they could do to move the State forward.
Also speaking, His Royal Majesty, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi, the Deji of Akure, , said he was delighted for the platform to have chosen Leke to be conferred with such prestigious award. Though ,he was also quick to mention that he was not surprised about it because he ,Dr Adeleke surely deserve it and deserve even National honour judging from his antecedents, his developmental initiatives and tenacity of purpose.
He observed that Leke and his wife have demonstrated passion for the development of humanity, his philosophy of giving back to the society is unquantifiable.
According to him, “ he was honoured for his good deeds to the people of this state and have been supportive in everything we do even as Akure community.
“He also praised the Hero team for finding it worthy to honour excellence is and thereby endorse the platform in their future programmes.”
The traditional ruler therefore used the occasion to call on the sons and daughters of the State to emulate the good deeds of the awardee so that they too can be honoured in this way in the nearest future.
Also,the Chairman of the Occassion ,Chief Michael Ade Ojo,described Leke Adedipe as special being that he loves so much. He showered so much encomium on him and also confirm that Adeleke truely deserve the Award. He equally use the opportunity to endorse the award platform and Hero Magazine International and promise to partner them in their future programs.
After the conferment of the award, a grand reception was held at thesame Event Centre, while Emirald Melody Music was on ground to entertain the guests.
At the red carpet reception, the Chairman of the occasion, Chief Ade Ojo described Leke and wife as good people who are reliable, adding that it is a good thing that they were honoured at home.
