In a show of solidarity and unwavering support for Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa’s gubernatorial aspirations in the upcoming elections in Ondo State, a group of All Progressives Congress (APC) Honourable members from the Ondo State House of Assembly paid a significant visit to the national Chairman of the APC, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje in Abuja.
Led by the Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon (Chief) Oladiji Olamide Adesanmi, the delegation expressed gratitude to Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje for his exemplary leadership qualities since assuming the chairmanship of the party. They also extended appreciation to the national leadership of the APC for their efforts in resolving recent political crises in the state.
The Speaker highlighted the existing peace in Ondo State, attributing it to Governor Ayedatiwa’s leadership, which has fostered seamless collaboration among the executive, legislative, and judiciary arms of government. Chief Oladiji emphasized the need to support Governor Ayedatiwa’s continued governance beyond 2025, citing his demonstrated leadership and commitment to development.
In response, APC Chairman Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje commended the lawmakers for their role in restoring peace in the state and assured them of continued leadership that promotes inclusivity within the party. He also pledged to ensure a smooth electoral process that would lead to victory for the APC in the upcoming elections.
Addressing the press, the Speaker urged aspirants in the forthcoming primary elections to maintain decorum and unity within the party, emphasizing the importance of solidarity among members.
The delegation included prominent members such as the Deputy Speaker, Rt Honourable (Prince) Abayomi Akinruntan, and several other Honourable Members, collectively demonstrating their support for Governor Ayedatiwa’s leadership and the APC’s agenda in Ondo State.
