ASSEMBLY ELECTION: ONDO APC CHARGES WARD CHAIRMEN ON VICTORY
Ahead of this Saturday’s State Assembly elections, the Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, says it has blocked all the loopholes that led to poor performance of the party during the recent presidential and national assembly elections.
The State Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, said this while addressing the ward chairmen from the 203 wards across the state.
The State Chairman said the party is correcting all mistakes to ensure victory during the State Assembly election on Saturday.
Adetimehin advised the leaders to brace- up for the task ahead.
He said both the leadership of the party “and the foot-solders must go the extra mile to ensure victory at the State assembly come Saturday”.
“We are here to discuss as a political party that is well structured and ideologically driven on how to win convincingly in the next election.
“We must strive to convince our observers that what transpired during the presidential and national assembly elections was as a result of human errors. It should therefore should not be used to guage our voting strength in Ondo State,” Adetimehin stressed.
Responding on behalf of the ward chairmen, Hon. Honey Gbayisemore, called for better understanding between the party and the State Government, that will help the APC assembly candidates to record victory during this Saturday’s polls.
He assured that the Local chairmen would do their best to ensure victory for the party during the election on Saturday.
