ILAJE CONSTITUENCY 1 LAWMAKER ENDORSED GOV. AKEREDOLU FOR SECOND TERM.
Hon. (Prince) Abayomi B. Akinruntan, member Ondo State House of Assembly, representing Ilaje Constituency I, in a meeting held the All Progressive Congress (APC) Ugbo ward I Selected Leaders, Ward and Local Government Executives at Igbokoda Ilaje Local Government Area.
The lawmaker said, this meeting was about the reelection of Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo AKEREDOLU SAN. He also explained the three processes that are allowed for the selection of party candidate in an election as stated in the party’s constitution. Our ward must deliver its votes for Aketi be it direct, indirect or consensus.
Leaders who could not make it to the meeting for one reason sent in their apologies and some made a call through to the gathering.
AP Ogunmahin Omolade thanked Gov. Akeredolu for the rehabilitation of C/S Primary School, Abetobo to a better standard that can withstand the ecological condition of the area and he said the ward must compensate Mr. Governor with our ward votes.
Mr. Karaki Felix Treasurer APC LG thanked the Governor for putting L.A Primary School, Erunna in good shape while Hon. Tomoloju Ajinde pleaded to Mr. Governor to approve the take of of Ogborikodo Grammar School, Ogboti which is the only secondary school within the ward of about 19 Communities. He also emphasized the fact that it’s only Ugbo 1 that doesn’t have a political appointee aside the opportunity given ward to present Hon Akinruntan for a 2nd term on the platform of APC.
The Supervisor representing the ward at the council, Hon Ola Luro appreciated Mr. Governor for the opportunity given to him. He as well clamour for the return of the performing Governor for another term.
The ward executives thru the Chairman Hon Alex Jolomi appreciate unity among the leaders and It was unanimously agreed that the ward will work and deliver for Aketi re election bid.
Hon. Akinruntan and other leaders endorsed Arakunrin Oluwarotomiti Akeredolu SAN for second time.
