The regent of Ayeka Kingdom, Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, HRH Princess Oluyemi Francisca Bajowa, has felicitated the newly sworn-in governor of the state, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on succeeding the late Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN.
The regent, in a statement issued on Thursday December 28 2023, stated that what has happened in the state is the wish of God which people should succumb to, adding that the swearing in of the new governor was divinely inspired. She said further that God rules in the affairs of men and no body can obtain anything except it is approved by God.
HRH Bajowa said she was convinced that His Excellency Aiyedatiwa is a man of impeccable qualities who would definitely turn the fortune of Ondo State around.
While charging the new governor to keep upholding the sanctity of good governance, the traditional ruler urged the people of the state to give him the necessary support that would make him succeed in his bid to administer the state effectively.
