The First Lady of Ondo State, Mrs. Betty Ananywu Akeredolu, was featured by Vice President Biden and his team at the
Biden Cancer Summit in Washington DC which held on September 21st 2018.
Jennifer Dent, President of BIO Ventures of Global Health based in Seattle, Washington highlighted the work of Mrs. Akeredolu in cancer control and prevention in Ondo state.
She also explained BVGH’s African Access Initiative which works across governments, private companies and academic institutions to improve access to cancer medicines and technologies in an affordable and sustainable way.
