The Deji & Paramount Ruler of Akure Kingdom, Oba (Dr.) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun II, CFR has described the Ooni of Ife, Oba (Dr.) Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, CFR has a traditional Ruler who remained a pace setter in the development stride of the Yoruba Nation as well as the Country at large.
Oba Aladetoyinbo lauded the Ooni of Ife for his giant stride in youth empowerment, provision of jobs as well as infrastructural development. The Monarch stated this during the official commissioning of the Ojaja Park in Akure.
The Deji of Akure who was accompanied by other Monarchs and members of the Deji-in-council described the Ojaja Park as a monumental project that had further improved the fortune of the Akure community and Ondo state by extension. “I am not surprised that Kabiyesi Ooni is breaking new grounds and turning impossibilities to possibilities. He sees challenges as an ample opportunity for greater exploits”, the Monarch said.
Oba Aladetoyinbo said that the Ojaja Park will no doubt boost the economy of the state and contribute to an improvement in the social life of the people of the State Capital. He said the project is indeed a big dream.
While appreciating the Deji of Akure for his efforts and support for the realization of the project. Oba Adeyeye recalled how he intervened when there were issues on the land and how he quickly nip the problem in the bud.
The foremost Yoruba monarch also urged Nigerians to patronize goods and services made in the country to reduce import dependency and shore up the value of the Naira about other major currencies.
The Ojaja Park is a city of Luxury which play host to Cinemas, Amusement park, Event Hall, Shopping Mall, 5-Star Luxury Hotel, Luxury apartments for sale amongst others.
Dignitaries at the event includes former President Olusegun Obasanjo, the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the founder of Elizade University, Chief Michael Ade-Ojo, Rev (Mrs.) Esther Ajayi and a host of others.
