On this special day, 8th August 2024, we celebrate not just the birthday of Prince Adedeji Adesida Adekayero1, but also his profound impact as the Olusopo of Usopo Alagbaka. Born into the prestigious royal lineage of Oba Afunbiowo Adesida I, Prince Adedeji has exemplified leadership, compassion, and a deep commitment to his community.
This year, as he commemorates his 47th birthday, the Prince also marks a year of his ascension to the throne of Usopo Alagbaka. Since his appointment in May 2023 by His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade (CFR), the Deji and paramount ruler of Akure Kingdom, Prince Adedeji has led with wisdom and a vision for progress, carrying forward the legacy of his forefathers with grace.
To honour this dual celebration, Prince Adedeji, known for his philanthropic spirit, will visit a motherless baby home to share gifts, embodying the values of compassion and charity that have been the hallmark of his reign. This gesture not only reflects his dedication to the less privileged but also his belief in uplifting every member of the community.
The Olusopo calls upon the Usopo community and its environs to join him on Saturday, 10th August, as they celebrate this significant milestone together. It is a day to reflect on the achievements of the past year and to look forward to the future with hope and determination.
