The special medical squad for the global entrepreneurship summit has been inspected by the Special Adviser to the Governor on health, Prof Simidele Odimayo to ascertain the level of preparedness of the team in partial readiness for rescue purposes.
The special squad which are carefully drawn from across the health facilities including FUTATH, UNIMEDTH and stationed strategically to attend to any eventuality that may give rise to casualty, were tasked by the Special Adviser on Health to the Governor to discharge their duties with diligence and high level of professionalism in accordance with the rules of engagement in the health sector.
Relatedly, some specific and special health cases are expected to be attended to by the team numbering about 25 personnel subdivided into group A and B located strategically in within the Dome.
