Born in the mid-80s to the family of Mr and Mrs Isaac Bodunde, Hon. (Mrs) Biola Ijimakinwa hails from Isarun, in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State. Her journey into leadership and community service began with a solid educational foundation. She attended Holy Saviours Primary School, Modakeke, and later proceeded to Community High School, Isarun, for her secondary education.
Driven by a thirst for knowledge, she earned her National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) at the prestigious Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo. Following her academic journey, she completed her mandatory NYSC programme at the Ondo State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (OSOPADEC) headquarters in Akure, where her dedication to service began to shine.
Currently serving as the Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on Mobilisation, Hon. Ijimakinwa has carved a niche as one of the most effective grassroots strategists in the state. Her exceptional ability to connect with people, her unwavering dedication to the welfare of her community, and her passion for service have made her a leading chairmanship aspirant for Ifedore LGA.
But Hon. Biola Ijimakinwa is more than just a public servant—she is also a successful businesswoman, a philanthropist with a golden heart, and a politician who understands that governance begins with people. Her commitment to the well-being of her constituents is evident in her various interventions, including the payment of outstanding stipends to workers at the APC Secretariat in her council area and the distribution of food items and palliatives to the less privileged.
A staunch member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Ijimakinwa’s contributions during Governor Aiyedatiwa’s election campaign were nothing short of remarkable. From her grassroots mobilisation drives to her strategic distribution of campaign souvenirs and financial donations, she left no stone unturned in ensuring the party’s success. Her efforts earned her special recognition from the governor himself during a campaign visit to Ifedore LGA—a moment marked by thunderous jubilation among party supporters.
Happily married and blessed with lovely children, Hon. Biola Ijimakinwa is a trailblazer, a leader with a human touch, and a beacon of hope for the people of Ifedore.
