Senior High Chief Idowu Asonja has proudly announced a sweeping victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Aheri Ward 1, Unit 8, where he delivered a record-breaking win during the polls.
In what has been described as the most significant victory in Ilaje Local Government, APC secured an overwhelming 230 votes against PDP’s modest 20 votes, reflecting the Chief’s influence and commitment to ensuring grassroots mobilisation.
Speaking on the feat, SHC Asonja said:
“This victory isn’t just about numbers; it’s about the collective will of our people to stand for leadership that works. Clearing my unit massively is a testament to our belief in H/E Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s vision and the APC’s mission of progress for Ondo State.”
He extended his congratulations to Governor Aiyedatiwa on his historic 18-0 victory, describing it as a clean sweep of destiny.
“We have shown that Ilaje stands solidly with the governor and the APC. Aheri Ward 1 is proud to lead by example!” he added with pride.
