Dr Funmilola remarked that she was the first PhD student and graduate of her Department.
Her PhD journey spanned for 6 years for diverse important reasons which were beyond her control.
She received 4 International Scholarships during the course of her PhD, which included been a Visiting Research Fellow for Training.
Funmilola attended several conferences to present her research and has 7 publications.
This feat was achieved while fulfilling the roles of a wife, a pregnant mother, and a worker at a Federal research agency..
