Without mincing words and to be earnest, the victory of Dr Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR, as the Senatorial candidate of All Progressive Congress, APC in Ondo South is a rare grace granted the people of the district by God Almighty.
We would have missed the chance of the quality representation Ibrahim could offer if not God’s arbitration at the primary election. What a divine opportunity!
Granted that his emergence at the primary is a collective win for the district , I will plead we should rally round what God has ordained and forget what he has never put in place. We need to revamp our history and break ranks with the state of langour the district has come to be identified with in the time past , ensure a renewal of commerce, art and agriculture.
It is the right time to escalate our dilapidated bitumen project through the representation of a classical business mogul, Barr Jimoh Ibrahim in the Senate . What a divine calling !
More so, the issue of power outage in the southern Senatorial District will equally be a story of the past. We have been experiencing darkness for the past 5,475 days and if not more than that. We need to restore our lost glory and enjoy dividends of democracy through a better representation.
