We will not abandon government facilities- HON. AKINBIOLA OLUWATOBI NICHOLAS
The Irele Local Government Chairman, Akinbiola Oluwatobi Nicholas, says his administration and that of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu will not abandon government facilities in the state.
Akinbiola made this known during the inspection of the just renovated and upgraded Civic Centre in Irele.
According to him, the centre which suffered neglect for years was provided with equipment’s and facilities to make the centre work again.
Akinbiola was quoted as saying this in a press statement on Thursday by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Akinboye Gbenga Joshua Osowe.
According to the statement, Akinbiola spoke at the Renovation and Upgrade Inspect of Irele Civic Centre on Thursday in Ode – Irele, Ondo State.
Also at the visit were some Irele Local Government Supervisors.
Osowe added, “To address gaps in primary health care, we have proposed three additional health centres for Irele local government.
“Our joy is to ensure that all abandoned government properties receive urgent attention.
“Because of the mounting costs and difficulties that vacant and abandoned properties place on communities, our government is taking measures to stem and even reverse the tide of abandonment.”
