Acknowledges his wealth of experience in governance, academia, and international diplomacy
Prince Joshua Oyetakin has congratulated Senator Jimoh Ibrahim on his appointment as Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations with the rank of Ambassador.
In a statement made available to journalists, Prince Oyetakin described the appointment as well deserved, acknowledging that Senator Ibrahim’s wealth of experience in governance, academia, diplomacy, and international business makes him well suited for the global responsibility.
According to him, Senator Ibrahim has over the years distinguished himself as a scholar, administrator, and political leader whose intellectual depth and strategic insight continue to contribute to national development.
He expressed confidence that the Senator’s vast exposure and professional accomplishments would strengthen Nigeria’s representation and engagement within the United Nations system while advancing the country’s diplomatic interests on the global stage.
Prince Oyetakin further stated that the appointment reflects recognition of competence and capacity, adding that Senator Jimoh Ibrahim’s service in the international diplomatic arena would bring honour to Nigeria and inspire many young Nigerians who aspire to leadership and global relevance.
He also wished the Senator a successful and impactful tenure in the new assignment.
