Ahead of the November 16th Governorship election in Ondo State, Prince Olajide Bolanle, also known as Jide Onimalu, a Chairmanship aspirant for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Owo Local Government Council, has thrown his weight behind the re-election campaign of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy, Dr. Olayide Owolabi Adelami.
On Friday, Prince Olajide convened a crucial meeting with the local government and ward executives of Owo, held at the newly acquired APC Party Secretariat in the Old NEPA Building Complex, Oke-Ogun, Owo. The meeting was aimed at rallying the party faithful to ensure a decisive victory for the Governor and his running mate in the forthcoming election.
During the gathering, Prince Olajide highlighted the significance of continuity in the state’s leadership and urged the executives to intensify their efforts in mobilizing voters. He also provided financial support to the party officials to bolster their activities across the wards as they gear up for the election.
The APC Party Chairman in Owo Local Government Area, Mr. Samuel Balogun, welcomed Prince Olajide and assured him of the executives’ commitment to a successful election. He commended the Deputy Governor, Dr. Adelami, for facilitating the acquisition of the new party secretariat, and lauded Prince Olajide for being the first aspirant to visit the new office, demonstrating his dedication and leadership in the ongoing electoral process.
