In preparation for 2023 Christmas and new year celebrations, the Ondo State House of Assembly Member Representing Ese-Odo Constituency, Hon. (Primate) Messiah Oluwatoyin Allen, has distributed bags of rice to numerous people of his constituency.
The was disclosed by the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the honourable lawmaker, Mr. Cornelius Omolere Owolewa. According to him, the distribution took place across the ten (10) wards in Ese-Odo constituency, capturing traditional rulers, leadership of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), parks management committee, commercial motorcyclists, persons with disabilities (PWDs) among others.
In the words of Hon. Allen, the distribution was designed to reflect the spirit of giving which is one of the good reasons for Christmas. He stressed that it is necessary to give the people a sense of belonging before, during and after the festive seasons and to show appreciation for their massive support during the March 18th 2023 House of Assembly election in the State.
Hon. Allen assured that he woud continue to discharge his legislative duties to the satisfaction of his constituents as he solicited their continuous support for prosperous legislation. He thereafter sent his season’s greetings to the people, praying that God continue to protect and bless them during the festive period and beyond.
