With deep gratitude to God for a life well spent, the Hero Publisher, Dr. Sunday Akinbiola, has announced the passing of his beloved father, Chief Akinbiola Joseph, fondly known as Baba Boy.
According to the family, Chief Joseph peacefully transitioned to eternal rest on Saturday afternoon at his residence in Irele, after a brief illness which was properly attended to in some of the best hospitals. He was surrounded by his loving family, including his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was aged 89.
Fondly remembered as Baba Jossy, the late patriarch lived a life defined by discipline, resilience, contentment, and integrity, values that shaped his journey and continue to inspire everyone who crossed his path.
In his heartfelt tribute, Dr. Sunday Akinbiola described his father as “more than a father, but a symbol of Discipline, Resilience, Contentment, and Integrity—qualities I proudly inherited and will forever hold dear.”
Chief Akinbiola Joseph’s life was a beacon of honor, humility, and peaceful coexistence, leaving behind a lasting legacy of wisdom, love, and uprightness.
