There was palpable fear in the university town of Akungba-Akoko in Akoko South-West Local Government Area of Ondo State as some unknown assailants murdered a yet-to-be-identified student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko in cold blood.
The incident happened in a off-campus students’ hostel known as Landmark Villa, around the popular Medoline Street in Akungba-Akoko.
According to testimonies from residents around the area, it happened on Sunday that they heard multiple gunshots being sporadically shot by these unknown assailants only to realise after the dastardly operation that an AAUA student resident in Landmark Villa has been shot dead.
