• Describes Elder Statesman As a True Progressive

As part of his efforts towards building a stronger, healthier and just democratic society, Ondo State Finance Commissioner and 2024 governorship hopeful, Mr. Wale Akinterinwa recently paid a courtesy visit to highly respected elder statesman and Yoruba leader of repute, Pa. Reuben Fasoranti.
Arriving at the Akure home of the nonagenarian with his entourage, Akinterinwa was warmly received by an elated Pa Fasoranti.
During the visit, Akinterinwa and Pa Fasoranti had a father-son discussion on a wide range of issues affecting the state and Nation. In particular they dwelled more on how to move the state forward.
Speaking after the meeting, Akinterinwa said “I came here to see my father, our leader, a first-generation Democrat and a true progressive leader, Pa Fasoranti.
This is a son-to-father visit and I am here to tap from the wisdom of our highly revered father, an accomplished leader who has served and still serving this nation meritoriously. As you can see, we had some insightful and fruitful discussions about the country and our state in particular. I intend to consolidate on this and also consult wider. Things can only get better”
Wale Akinterinwa is a dominant force to reckon with when it comes to Ondo State politics. In the last couple of years, he has been a prominent factor in the development and progress of the state on all fronts.
Feelers from across the state indicate that Akinterinwa’s popularity on the political scene is soaring by the day, just as his popular slogan, “WA Kajose”.
The Governorship election in the state is slated for the later part of 2024.
