The founder of BRECAN, Arabinrin Betty Akeredolu has taking breast cancer awareness campaign to Lagos as they engage in BRECAN jog for life. Lagos already painted pink.
In her awareness campaign message, Her Excellency, Chief Mrs Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu reiterated that Breast cancer is the most common cancer amongst women according to WHO, so we are imploring every woman, young and old, rich and poor to do a breast self -examination once a month. And head to the hospital if any unusual change is detected.
Early detection is key to improving breast cancer outcome and survival. Cancer is best tackled at the earliest stage.
